As far back as I can remember, I have always been creative. I am always looking for opportunities to create something. I have been a woodturner for more than 10 years, an amateur photographer for more than 7 years and a knife maker for about 4 years now. I started making knives because of one simple question, " how hard can it be?". I quickly realized that it is not as easy as I thought. I realized that making knives is just like any other art form that I could learn and would allow me to continue expressing my creativity and continue learning new skills. Another reason why I do what I do is because I get to meet people, many of whom have become customers and ultimately really good friends. Knives bring people together. Knives cross borders, oceans and mountains. Knives are tools that everybody can relate to because most people have held a knife at least once in their lives. Knives are more than tools, they are a door to other cultures, communities and traditions.
